Welcome to the Amethyst House Submissions Page
Amethyst House is accepting submissions of quality
manuscripts in the following genre: First Chapter Books, Teens
and Young Adult, General Fiction and Self-Help.
We are a small Publisher, and can only select a chosen few
manuscripts to publish. We prefer to accept manuscripts by
e-mail. We do not accept manuscripts in Word Perfect.
Amethyst House receives many submissions, so please do not
expect an answer for a minimum of nine months. We will
contact you, if your manuscript has been selected by our
review committee. At this time we accept only original
manuscripts of unpublished work, self-published without a
contract excepted. All Amethyst House Authors are expected
to perform a certain amount of sweat equity, to help with your
personal publicity.
The following information should be included with your
submission:
A writing sample or full manuscript for short stories
The genre of manuscript
Word count
A short Bio
If it a multiple submission
At this time all Picture Books have been selected for the 2006
and 2007, seasons. Submissions for Picture Books is now
closed. Thank you for your submissions.
